ALUMNI STORIES
Francis Romwen D. Adarlo, a proud graduate of the University of Batangas (UB), successfully balances artistic passion with smart business skills. With nearly a decade of experience as a freelance photographer, director, and editor, he is now the founder and creative director of Antbite Studios in Batangas City.
His deep roots with UB began with an Information Technology degree in 2018. Staying connected to his school, he worked as a university multimedia designer and a part-time teacher for the College of Arts and Sciences, mentoring future creators through the Future Multimedia Artists Society (FMAS).
Driven by this belief, Adarlo sought to master the financial side of the creative industry. He went back to school and earned his Master’s Degree in Business Management from the UB Graduate School in September 2025. This business training allowed him to grow his craft, leading to the launch of Antbite Studios. Guided by the motto Creativity Beyond Measure, the studio delivers affordable, high-quality visual storytelling to the local community.
Adarlo’s transition from a solo freelancer to a thriving local business owner serves as a powerful blueprint for young artists. His journey proves that technical skill is only half the equation—long-term success requires continuous learning, adaptability, and treating your creative vision as a lasting career.
